i really wanna major in astronomy, but i'm not sure how stressed out i will be if i do. i've heard that it was just like physics but there are more additional courses. so...could anyone out there inform me of how hard majoring in astronomy really is?

You are right: an astronomy degree is essentially a physics one, but instead of advanced physics labs you take astronomy courses (at least that's how it usually is, if your school isn't that big on labs you miss out on a bunch of upper level physics instead).
It is also worth noting that at many schools if you want to be a professional astronomer it's better to major in physics instead of astronomy because sometimes your physics knowledge is compromised for the astro courses (and while you can learn astronomy later in grad school you NEED to learn physics in undergrad). If you really want to try astronomy and see how it goes, however, my advice is go to college planning to be an astro major and then seeing if you can handle it. Good luck! :)
