lol... .

fizix. dont you go to caltech lol?

yes. does this mean I can't send emails, and enjoy it?

no, just wondering. I was just under the impression that caltech students were way beyond simple e-mailing. But i guess sometimes you just enjoy the simple things in life.

I have a feeling there's some hidden, geeky meaning behind "sending an email from your own computer" that even I don't know :S

she edited something out from a previous post

well, most of you guys send emails out from other people's computers, like gmail's computers, or yahoo's computers, or maybe caltech's computers
but I figured out how to send stuff out from my own computer, so ha :)
this basically means I get me@mycustomhostname.domainname.etc as opposed to me@gmail.com or something similar
...which basically means I win.
but 'tis a story for another day.

...but gmail is free.... and i didn't have to spend (some may say waste) a lot of time working on sending an e-mail.
