Hey guys,
I submitted my application today (yeah I know its dumb to do it this early) and, while re-reading the essay, I found two typos. One was accidentally using a comma instead of a period, and the other is “Think of it starting a new adventure” (missing the “as”). I’m hoping since my essays is 652 words long, they will let the mistake slide, but I am still worried. I really want to get NMF because my first choice is USC and they offer a half scholarship if you get NMF. I’m not really interested in the $2500; my family is middle class and I rather have that money go to someone who really needs it, but the half scholarship to USC will really lift a financial burden off for me and my parents. Here are my official scores:
PSAT: 226 (CR 76 M 80 W 70)
SAT: 2250 Superscored (780 CR 750 M 720 W 11 Essay), 2180 Single Sitting
GPA:4.46 Weighted/ 4.0 Non-weighted
Class Rank: School doesn’t give away, but somewhere in the top 10
EC: Varsity Football Captain, Editor-in-Chief, SSEP National Media Correspondent, Intern at ESPN, and a few other things but those are the big ones.
I already sent my SAT and SATII scores to the National Merit though Collegeboard.
Praying for some good news.
Thanks for reading.
