My heart is broken. I only just discovered that I needed to submit my grade information via MyBerkeleyApp. I just completed it now, but there is notice on the site that says my chance of admission will be jeopardized because it is late. I fear a future in which I get rejected and I will not know if it was due to my lack of personal merit, or whether it is the result of missed deadline. Has anyone else gone through this? I feel like I have been sucker-punched by life

You should call and ask what you should do.
You mean the form where you fill out your major prerequisites and graduation required courses? Next time check your email. Berkeley sent emails out frequently reminding people to submit it.

My daughter got accepted to berkeley last year and swears she never knew about this and 100% did not fill it out. Since I tended to have some concept of what was going on and don’t recall it either, I’m really thinking she never filled it out. Who knows? Would they really toss a great candidate because they didn’t realize they had to do this? I mean, wouldn’t we be hearing about it all over the place?
Assuming you have a strong GPA I kind of think you’re in the clear.
Email admissions and let them know. Or better yet email, then call.

Someone else said the same thing. I’m sure it doesn’t exactly help, but it’s still possible. It’s kind of stupid that they require us to fill that out when all the information they need is on the app.
The form asks for zero new information. It is just the information from your traditional application organized in a different way.
Although it is redundant, they still want you to do it. I filled out and submitted those forms. I suppose I will have to wait and see like everyone else. I have a pretty strong academic record, so I am hoping that is what I am judged on and not this.
Did you call and let them know? Really be sure to do that.
I am in the exact same boat. I relentlessly check my email for updates from UC’s or anything pertaining to them. While I did receive many updates from LA and SB, I never got a single update/reminder email from Berkeley. The only email I ever received from Berkeley was the initial email saying they received my application. It was only earlier today where I was curious of my application’s status that I logged onto the MyBerkeleyApp to find 3 unchecked boxes… I’m extremely bitter and gloomy about the entire ordeal. What’s wrong with the universal TAU on the UC page itself? Regardless, good luck to you buddy. I’m going to call them later today to see if there’s anything I can do, or if I’m a lost cause
@ilikewafflez Berkeley does not come out with decisions until end of April. They have not tossed these non-conforming applications in the bin. Simply fill out the forms and alert UCB admissions by phone or email. The UCs always write things in a threatening manner to get students to get the stuff done, but are very lenient and always, as far as I can tell, extend deadlines. Getting these forms in mid-March, I can’t see it a high priority mistake.
