So i need some advice.

Well it would help if i was still living in Nebraska. My moms freaking job transferred her to iowa for like 2 months and now we're in the freaking boonies of Missouri, I have applied at every place of business in this podunk town.

I have already sold all of my old crap, including my POS 89 dodge dynasty, my entertainment center, my futon, and my television, and that money went to help my mom out.

I guess i failed to mention the fact that we had to move, and that is kind of costly. It's more important to me that i have a home to return to at the moment. It sucks that i can't go to school in just over 3 weeks, but I have accepted the fact. I'm not giving up my dream, just postponing it.

My family, is just my mom and I. I don't speak to my father, or my brother, and my grandparents are deceased. Family friends might be an option, if my mom would let me ask them to cosign for a loan, but no her dignity would be ruined.

I have called my college, they'll let me keep my financial aide package, and let me enroll in the spring penalty free. So, in the fact, i am kind of catching a break, being how i'm not loosing a really amazing financial aide package.

Besides the obvious of working 2 jobs, and saving every penny, i'm just looking for some advice on what to do as to keep my mind busy, because if i don't i'm going to get really depressed about it.

I'm in a place i've never been, i don't know anyone, it's just kind of something i've never really had to go through.

EDIT: i am not looking for a way to get the money to go in August, it's kind of been exhausted, i just need some ideas on what to do with my time

start a charity jar? sell lemonade? apply for scholarships?

take some community college courses like i said so youre not behind. the best luck to you.

^good idea!

Oh, I thought you were only looking for money-making ideas.

I agree with taking a class or two at a CC, if there's one near you. Also look into volunteering somewhere. And keep up the job search.

chuy, I can't believe you would be so insensitive as to deploy an ad hominem attack at a time like this. Clearly, this girl is a victim of evil avaricious college administrators who want to pilfer from students and the wicked rich who hoard resources that are rightly everyone else's, leaving her unable to pay for college. And surely this girl has a true divine connection with this 33 year-old man, I'm sure that their love is real and that it's not the illusion of a young, fickle female mind. Shame on you, chuy.

How could I have been so shallow. You've led me to see the light, easy. How can I ever repay you?

You may repay him with $250, cash or check. Please send it to me, and I will ensure that it gets to Easy. If sending check, make it out to "GoldShadow".

haha make out the check to goldshadow?
and guys dont make fun of her, i think she might have some issues that is totally not her fault.
