I'm a sophomore at a very small high school in Spokane, Missouri and it isn't really all that good of a high school, it seems that we are a bit behind. I have around a 3.7 GPA and have never taken my ACT/SAT, what are the chances of being admitted into William and Mary?

The info you’ve provided isn’t really enough information to make an assessment or provide any specific advise.

What we can tell you is that we do evaluate every applicant in the context of where he/she goes to school so we evaluate your courses in the context of what’s offered. We do the same with your GPA.

The profile of our admitted students are those who take the most challenging courses offered at your high school (we recommend courses like calc, physics and the fourth level of a single foreign language), they are generally in the top 10% of their class (GPA is very school specific so we don’t have an average GPA), and the middle 50% of our applicants score between 1240-1450 (Critical Reading + Math) or 27-32 (ACt).

Because we are a public school, we are more selective for out-of-state students generally admitting about 28% of those who apply.
