<p>I gave up and finally made a chance thread.</p>

<p>I will ABSOLUTELY chance back if you post a link.</p>

<p>Okay my stats are:
Region: Midwest
Ethnicity: Asian/Indian
School: Charter, rarely sends students to high schools. The highest school we have sent kids to so far was Johns Hopkins
Rank: Dont rank cus we are a bunch of smarties and having a 3.8 puts you below 50% haha.</p>

<p>Scores:
ACT: 31, 33 superscored
SAT: 2210, 700CR, 740 Math, 770, Writing
SAT II: Literature: 780 Chemistry: 700 Math IIC: 700</p>

<p>Have never taken APs cause school only does two and they started only last year.
So I do dual enrollment at a university, and get college credits. SO SUPER TOUGH COURSES JUNIOR AND SENIOR YEAR.
BUT, I am going to get all Bs senior year :(</p>

<p>My GPA: 3.9 unweighted. I dont have any weighted grades.
Essays: AMAZING
RECS: generic
counselor report: LOVES ME!</p>

<p>Extracirriculars:
Vice President of NHS (3 yrs)
Vice President of Student Body (3 years)
First chair clarinet (9th and 10th grade)
Co coordinator of fundraising- my states chapter Tamil (a kind of Indian) society
Co-coordinator of childrens area - my states Polycystic Kidney Disease Walk
Hospital volunteer- 3 years, over 300 hours
Plan to do Research at Diabetes Institute over the summer
Was a teen teacher, summer program for community in 9th and 10th grade
-Teens Teaching program, selective, teach kinds in different elementary schools, 9th and 10th grade, over 200 hundred hours
Ski/Snowboard Club, snowboarder, three years, you have to in the Midwest
Job: Bakery, 15 hours a week</p>

<p>ur SAT scores are good and u have good ecs, u lack of “rigorous curriculum” may not boost ur chances but since colleges judge it in context, i think u will be fine. ivies are a crapshoot for all of us.

<p>I think you have great stats and a good shot at most of those schools! However the ivys are reaches for anyone. I also think ur at a slight disadvantage because ur school does not send many kids to top schools. However, ur test scores and Extra carriculars should set u apart as well as the fact that you go to a charter school. good luck!</p>
