So, if you wouldn't mind... a few Ivies and such?

Hey guys... what can I say, I can't take the anxiety of waiting until April 1st anymore, so I figured I'd throw this up here and see what the hell you guys think about my chances. So to cut to the chase:

I'm a white dude, residing in Indiana.

At a pretty big, well-respected high school. A few kids make it into Notre Dame, and other than that, I'm not sure.

Both my parents have their Masters, and they both went to Purdue.

ACADEMICS
-GPA: 3.92 unweighted, 4.27 (or something like that) weighted.
-RANK: 3/718. I'm sure I'm tied with at LEAST 10 people but I'm reasonably sure that doesn't matter, right?
-ACT: 33 [10 on writing]
-SAT: 1450/1600 (750 CR, 700 M)
-SAT II's: Math 2-750, Chem-610

CLASSES
AP Bio, AP Chem, AP Physics B, AP Calc AB, AP Stats, AP English Lit, AP English Comp, AP U.S. Hist, AP Psychology, AP Spanish, AP European History. Honors Physical Science, Honors Algebra1, 2, and Geometry, Regular precalc. All other classes were "basic."

ATHLETICS
- Varsity Swimming & Diving; 5 years; Captain J-Sr Years; Been to state twice.
- Varsity Track & Field; 4 years; Mile; Co-Captaining long-distance this spring.

EMPLOYMENT
- Best Buy; Sales Associate. April 2009-Present; 20-30 hours per week. It's a lot of work.

**LEADERSHIP/b
- RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) scholar and participant. Attended a one week camp that developed our leadership and team-building skills.
- Senior Committee; one two-hour meeting weekly, planning for graduation/prom/etc.

CLUBS/MISC.
- Concert Choir; 4 years; tenor in audition choir. Participated in 2 chambers during junior year, got "fair" ratings in both in regional competition. Nothing to brag about.
- Peer Tutors; the only class I ever did this for was Spanish. Usually ranged from 2-3 hours per week.
- School/Community Planning Commission; working with other students and community members to organize events in the community and volunteer. Only one hour per 2 weeks. It was basically our school's version of NHS.

chance back please!

nothings really exceptional on your list, which probably means that harvard is quite the reach for you. if you had applied ED to brown i would have said that you had a good shot, but alas, it too is a reach. cornell will be a low-ish reach. best bet, especially if you’re catholic, would be notre dame. W&M is a definite match along with all other colleges except rice, which is a high match/low reach.
