I've never had big dreams of going to an Ivy League college, though I have the mental capacity and ability to go to one. And I've never had outstanding grades, honestly due to slacking off all throughout high school.

The end of senior year has come and guess what? I've just taken my SAT's (1760 out of 2400) and ACT's (28) in the spring, which means I haven't applied to college yet. I know it's really pathetic, and I feel like such a loser for putting everything off and procrastinating as long as I did, but I can't change what I did.

So, now I'm planning on applying to colleges for their Spring 2011 semesters, but there's just one thing. I have not a clue on how to go about this.
Any advice, anyone? Anything at all would be greatly appreciated and very helpful to me.

To get a general idea of what I'm trying to work with, I was thinking of definitely applying for Temple University (my number one choice school, I'm completely in love with it, the School of Visual Arts, and the University of the Arts. I'm planning on majoring in fine arts and, if possible, minoring in art history. If I go to Temple, I'd go for a teaching certification along with my major. And also, my GPA as of now is kind of low, it's a 2.8 or so. I'm hoping it'll go up to a 3.(something). As far as I'm concerned, anything above a 2.9 sounds a lot better to me.
