<p>Freshmen aren’t placed in coed rooms, though some freshmen who live in suites share a common room with people of the opposite sex (and if you don’t want that, I think there’s something on the roommate matching form where they ask about that). I know there’s a coed triple of sophomores, though, so I don’t think it’s exclusively juniors and seniors.</p>
<p>Yep, housing is completely gender-neutral. The Dean of Students will let anyone live together except couples cuz that could go very badly in the case of a breakup. And room-cest is a generally terrible idea. </p>
<p>Frosh are always placed in same-gender rooms, as mentioned. No one will force you to have opposite-gender suitemates though. Frosh can opt out when they fill out housing forms, and there are mechanisms to declare suites same-gender for non-Frosh.</p>
