So...just how many C's can I get?

Ok...so I am now deciding between Dartmouth and UCLA, two very different experiences, I know. I am from Southern California and am a bit apprehensive to attend a school covered in snow six months out of the year when I havn't seen it in three years. anyways, I am leaning toward Dartmouth.

My question is, my school ends for Seniors in exactly 9 days (Senior Class trip to Israel). I am NOT a math/science type of guy and was wondering if my acceptance would be rescinded if I received a C in AP Calc and a C in physics. The reason I ask this is because I received a letter from UCLA saying that as long as I do not receive any grade lower than a C and maintain a 3.0 GPA, I would be fine.

I think that schools VERY rarely rescind acceptances. My guess is that you would have to fail a class or drop a point in GPA in order to lose admission. Even then, you can probably appeal it and explain your trip to Israel. Worst case scenario you can go to UCLA.

I wouldn't worry about 2 C's. I know it might seem like the end of the world to someone who probably got all A's in HS, but it's not that uncommon. Nobody knows better than the Dartmouth admissions people themselves how hard you have worked throughout high school!
