Admission rescinded by UCLA

I would really appreciate anyone’s input on this topic.

I’ll try to make it as brief as possible.

Up to my mid-year report, I have only gotten 2 Bs (both in math) throughout my whole high school career.

This year we had a new schedule. Some AP classes such as AP Eng Lit met daily, but they ended by the 3rd mester (half way through the second semester). But we were never notified of this. We thought that the grade that was submitted for us was merely a progress report grade, but we were later on informed that it was our final grade. This was only based on one test and a few homework assignments. So I ended up with a B in that class.
AP Calc BC is going to end at the end of the year though. And that is the class that I’m struggling with the most (due to valid reasons such as family issues- keep in mind that I’ve never let them influence my academics but I somehow fell short this semester) I have a C at the moment. I will get A’s in every other class but this one class is really stressing me out. I know that if it drops to a D, then it’s game over, but I’ve also heard that a dramatic change in our grade can also be detrimental. Is this true? What should I do? Will dropping the class hurt me more? Any advice will be much appreciated.

Hi there:) I’m also a newly admitted freshmen to UCLA so we actually might be potential classmates. I think that the circumstances are fine since you didn’t violate any conditions in the admission contract. However, i suggest not dropping any course (my friend got her Berkeley offer withdrawn after she dropped one)

@jessica12345 Oooh, good to know. Thank you so much!
And that’s so cool! Go Bruins!! (:
