<p>FIrst of all, private schools are better than public schools. Most of the time. Not only for the "classes" you will take, but for the connections you make. (No rhym intended.) Would you rather go to school with unsuccessful people or people that are probably going to own important things around your town? Think about it. It makes sense that you want to make friends in the upper caste for obvious upward mobility. </p>
<p>Also, 8th graders should not be allowed in the HIGHSCHOOL forum. Just a thought.</p>

<p>it seems like everyone is pushing that private school are so much more elite, but just because a school is private doesn't make it good and just because a school is public doesn't make it bad. i live in a really competitive town where the public schools are just as good if not better than the private schools. we're consistently in the top 10 in the world in academic testing. but for some reason you all seem to believe that we must be dummies because we don't pay outlandish amounts of money to attend our school.</p>
