so now that were in...

my son was accepted and he is thrilled. now hes asking everyone about the social scene there, any comments?

father 91, thats a great question...I'm also very curious about the social scene at pton..i understand that this is not the reason i applied here :P, but if anyone can comment on how the girls and parties are at princeton ( if there are any...parties that is hehe) i would appreciate it...look forward to meeting everyone there and hope there are some people in my class who are just as crazy as i am and dont JUSt hang out in the library and eating clubs

So the eating clubs are not the stuffy things you are imagining. From a parent's point of view they are wildly, even too wildly social some times. Also, for a certain group of kids, fraternities and sororities have become quite the thing.

If you like parties you will love Princeton.

And if you don't, you will also love it. You just won't be on the Street Thursday and Saturday nights...

Alumother is correct as usual. Princeton has something for everyone. My child is not the partying type, has not yet set foot inside an eating club since starting Freshmen year in September, but still loves the school. Lots of other things to do if the Street is not your scene, and if the Street is for you then party on responsibly.
