So, regardin financial aid...

If my familly can contribute about 10,000 euros a year, which is around 13,000 dollars to my aducation, will that even make a difference?

I can by no means pay for my whole education, but...I guess something is better than nothing?

Ew, I’m sorry for the typo in the topic :/

When you apply for admissions, your family will complete the financial aid applications as well. Each institution sets its own policy about financial aid. If you receive an acceptance for admission, you will also learn whether or not that institution is able to offer you any financial aid. There is no guarantee that any institution in the US will give you any aid. It is most likely that your affordable option is in your own home country.

Also keep in mind that if your family is like most American families, what they think they can afford and what colleges think they can afford will be very different numbers. US colleges expect your family has been saving for college and they expect willingness by parents to borrow. So EFC is not just based on current income and assets.

What you put down as what your family can pay is largely irrelevant. Colleges will let you know what your need is, so brace yourself!
