In the beginning of junior year, I stole an English quiz from the teacher's desk, and received a 3-day suspension. I understand that I have to report this incident on the common app, and I am going to tell them about my bad judgment and great lessons learned from this mistake, as suggested by my guidance counselor.
Here are my stats:
GPA: 3.7/4.0, 4.5/5.0
SAT: CR- 640, Math- 740, Writing- 760 (1st time); Chemistry- 720, Math II- 740
Varsity track for 2 yrs
Governor school, NHS, science fair awards, district and regional band, county orchestra, numerous writing publications, 80 hours of volunteer etc.
I fully understand that the suspension will hurt me, but I was wondering if you could tell me my chances of getting in these schools:
Cornell, Johns Hopkins, Emory, Carnegie Mellon, Lehigh, Wake Forest, NYU, Michigan, Vanderbilt, Case Western

It kind of depends on how seriously those colleges take suspensions. It sounds like you regret doing it, and it wasn't like in senior year (that would really be bad). I think that you can still get into some of these schools, since you look like a hard worker, but you're not totally 'screwed.' And, dude, stop posting the same thing again and again. It's annoying. Just wait for a day or so and if nobody answers, you can just put something down like "Anyone there?" and if still nothing happens, people probably don't know.

Just apply and see what happens. Suspensions and cheating/trouble is like a random piece of art. One day you may get praise and the other day people says it sucks. No one really has an answer so just apply like normal and good luck.
