So uh... I can't swim.

One lap of freestyle?

Or one lap of a specific style?

There are 6 rotations in PE. Together, these 6 rotations last all of freshman year. That would figure approximately to a month and third each.

Do you have as long as you want to do it? I can swim, just not very fast. I do the crawl but my form is pretty bad/relatively slow to people doing the crawl.

I was in your shoes afruff23. Not a good swimmer but can stay afloat. I had to do the additional laps but it was obvious that I wasn't going to drown so I passed.

Heh...I'm not planning on applying to ND, but it's nice to know that if I do that I won't have to take swimming lessons.

So, if you're eschewing the greatest place on earth (and, some would think, in the the rest of universe as well), where are you planning on applying?

Wow, I never knew somebody could be so offended by somebody not putting their college on their application list (which by the way takes time, effort, and money).

Why are you trying to get at an ad hominem argument here?

I was being facetious. Obviously it's my job as a student here to promote ND, but really I was just curious as to where you were applying. I know Notre Dame's not for everybody.

There are still a few schools that require swim tests--you might make sure before you apply if you have any doubts!

I'm going to bump this.

Can you buy prescribed goggles at Notre Dame?

im going to guess no, not on campus...but that is a total guess
