<p>Hey, I really don't consider myself a part of this community, but I've often wondered, what do you guys do in your spare time? (I mean things you can't put on your college applications, yes that includes organized sports competitions, clubs, internships, etc.) </p>
<p>I bring this up because I was reading a forum (don't remember the one), and a guy who said he studied like ten hours a day for his classes.He's got to be joking. Surely this can't be representative of the majority of people at CC. So I'm curious, how much free time do you guys have, and what do you do in it?</p>
<p>I don’t actually have that much free time, but even when I know I don’t, I still make time to waste. It’s a phenomenon called procrastination, which I am guilty of. Don’t get me wrong, I take AP classes and I’m involved, but a lot of times it’s hard to be motivated. </p>
<p>Things I do in my “free” time:
Play on my PSP.
Play on my Gameboy Advance SP.
Watch Japanese animation.
Watch comedy television like Parks and Recreation.
Read a book.
Surf the web.</p>
<p>The worst part about wasting time is knowing that you could be doing something that actually matters. I have over 100 hours on my Pokemon LeafGreen game. In that time, I bet I could’ve learned a language in that time. </p>
<p>Procrastinate (i.e. mess around on the Internet), hang around with my boyfriend, go for walks, learn a foreign language, read books once in a blue moon. </p>
<p>I self study lauguages. It’s what I get a kick out of doing. I am self studying 7 at the moment and hoping to pick up a few more for the summer. </p>
<p>Watch shows on Netflix and online that usually happen to be British. Read books on Math. Watch cool YouTube channels like vlogbrothers and Vsauce. Teach myself cool Physics. Do nothing. Sometimes bike ride. Hang out with friends when I can. Stuff I think is fun.</p>
