I'm a rising junior and I just want to ask what I need to do this year. I mean, I have lots of ideas about what to do, I just wanna know more. What did you do when you were a junior in high school ? What activities and/or clubs ?

I have the same question.

You should do things that reveal your passions. Join clubs that you’re interested in. Clubs haven’t started yet at my school.

Take rigorous classes, study for the SATs, PSAT, ACT, etc.

Junior year was…interesting. I’d tell you to get involved. My after school clubs and activities were the only things that got me through the day. Take courses you feel you can do okay/well in. Don’t just take a difficult course load for the sake of doing so. There’s a kid in my class who took all AP classes last year, passed one with a c-, and is currently re-taking junior year and won’t graduate on time with the rest of my class because he thought that having an AP class on his transcript was better than doing okay in a regular level class.
I’d also say to study for the SAT and/or ACT. They’re important, as you know, but don’t make your whole world revolve around those tests.

Try to have fun junior year. Hang out with friends. Do things you like to do. It’s a really difficult year, but the more you add into your schedule that you like to do, the less painful (and it can be excruciating and unbearable at times) it is.
