So. What's wrong with socialism?

Your ulterior motive. I knew that it was highly unlikely someone on CC could be as dumb as you were acting. Had to be some type of bias or something.

Seriously though, is your dad at least somewhat educated. Why didn’t he try to get a grocery store job or something? Staying unemployed for 2 years is sort of ■■■■■■■■. Not gonna lie. Trust me you’d be in the same position in Sweden or some other country if you weren’t working for two years.

I’m done with this discussion though. My only advice would be to stop holding grudges against people for your own problems. That really is not helpful. Nobody is going to give you a free handout in life. No matter what country you move to. You need to learn to accept life as it hits you and bounce back from it. Nobody is going to hold your hand for you.

Microsoft, Dell, or Apple?

Guarantee you are using one right now. And that’s just the computer market. LOL don’t act dumb.

My dad did try to get a new job, everywhere…there were no jobs to be had…
No, he didn’t go to college, couldn’t afford it…

yes i have grudges…but at least i believe in something
goodnight though

If he graduated from high school then he could get jobs. Heck, I haven’t even graduated from High School and I was able to get a job easily. Without connections or anything. You need to have the drive.

vossron, read these articles and explain to me why are native Britons emigrating in masses:

^For a second I thought the word “Opinion” in your first link said “Onion”.

You almost lost all validity there.

The fact that everyone thinks it’s synonymous with communism

Sony, and I’m not sure how much those 3 outsource.

No English newspapers have real credibility. They’re all slanted.

“The fact that everyone thinks it’s synonymous with communism”

This is SO true. I’ve asked so many people what’s the difference between socialism and communism and most couldn’t give me a good answer. Especially those who were really conservative. I think it’s pretty silly when you don’t know much about the opposing side. I think that’s why a lot of people are so afraid of Obama’s socialist plans because they fear communism.

Sony makes computers? LOL I’ve never seen one. It must be completely crappy.

I’m thinking you’re probably lying but if not I’m sure you visit google, youtube, facebook, and other American sites. Face it, your statement was significantly incorrect.

And why does it matter if jobs are outsourced? What does that have to do with it being an American product?

You’ve never heard of Sony VAIO? I remember back in the day they used to be very expensive but were the lightest and thinnest laptops around.
