I'm wondering when the forms and all the stuff are going to be coming in in the mail for accepted students? I just cannot wait to pay my deposit and enroll already :)

For internationals give about 2-3 weeks.

You mean from today? Geez, better everything come in time, I don’t want to be left out on anything xD

Don’t worry there’s plenty time.Don’t expect anything spectacular though. The Oberlin acceptance packet is remarkably dry and underwhelming,it’s basically 3 pieces of paper.extremely “meh”:/

Really? I thought I’d get a big exciting booklet full of pictures and fun stuff Still I’d like to get it asap :)

Lolz.I hear the fun stuff is coming in May though,+ an awesome t-shirt.Have you decided on OC or are you going somewhere else?

Waitlisted at 6 places, admitted to Oberlin, definitely not going to grovel onto the 6 places that won’t be taking me :P

Hey guys, have you received any follow-up e-mail/ e-mails after the one with your decision?

Just an e-mail about visiting,(which I obviously cant since I’m an international student)I wish they would send the I-20 sooner rather than later though. And yeah, where’s the t-shirt?lol,I guess internationals don’t get one:(

@macmill: If you don’t mind, could you please post the starting lines of your accpetance letter? I just want to know if it is the same for all accpeted students or it is rather personal as I’ve heard from some previous year students. They say that, sometimes, the decision letter even quotes a part of our application essay!

My acceptance letter had a list of qualities that admissions was impressed by. I’m pretty sure we’ll get t-shirts as well, they’re probably in the mail system right now, crossing the Atlantic

Btw guys, get on Oberlin 2015 on Facebook!

masterclass,I’ll PM you just now.The e-mail was personalised and said stuff about me,which was nice. The letter that came in the mail was the general acceptance.

Yes the e-mail was personal, the acceptance letter generic. That’s because the e-mail is written by the person who first read your file I guess.
