I have been reading about the academics of slc, and so far I like what I hear, but I’m really worried about the social aspect of the college.
- Is sarah lawrence really as bad and socially depressing as it’s said to be? I will admit I am an introvert so I don’t need to go out everyday, but I don’t want to be stuck on campus with nothing to do.
- I know NYC is close by, but doesn’t that get a bit expensive to go as often as people say they do?
- What do people usually do on the weekends for substance-free fun?
- Are there enough campus events to keep things exciting? I heard the turnout is bad, but how are they bad?
And two more last sort of random question: I’m into nature walks and the like, are there any nice spots to discover that are within walking distance? How is the quality of computer science and economics education over there? I think I would want to combine those with business, but I’m not sure of how strong of a base I will get.
