Hey i was just wondering how life is over at USC? I'm going to be a sophomore transfer and I've heard mixed reviews. I'm coming from Arizona State, and I wasn't a fan of the large campus type life and am also considering transferring to Santa Clara because it's a much smaller university and also has a legit business school. any tips/info?

Hi, Tyson! I have heard the life at USC is very good for most. Santa Clara works for many as well, but it is considerably smaller & the two campuses have an entirely different feeling, so I'd tour both to have a better idea of what you're getting into. One thing about Santa Clara is that it is pretty religous & folks notice who does & doesn't attend mass (I've been told). Also, they count attendance, especially in the classes you take with your dorm & if you have too many absences (even for health reasons), you are asked to withdraw from the school.
USC has a legit business, school, Marshall. Perhaps if you post at the main USC section instead of this thread, you'll get more responses (not as much traffic to this section now that folks are settled in and heading toward summer after finishing their freshman finals). My S has loved his year at USC--he's an engineering major. Most of his friends have also had a great time at USC as well. There are only 200 freshmen engineering students, so in some ways, there's a smaller "feel" than there would otherwise be. I'm sure it's similar at the business school, as you end up seeing a lot of the same students in many classes you take together. There are also business clubs & societies.
