Socially Awkward and Nerdy Guys

Seth Cohen from the OC anyone?

<of course,=“” but=“” girls=“” aren’t=“” usually=“” expected=“” to=“” be=“” the=“” ones=“” make=“” a=“” move.=“”></of>

Yeah, man, I don’t plan on getting a girlfriend or getting married EVER so that’s on MY SIDE! As long as I don’t go around be like ‘Yo, you wanna go out with me?’ I’m pretty much set on lliving a solitary life full off “I can do whatever I want and there are no annoying girls to tell me what to do! None of those marriage BS and complications or gf/bf infedility nonsense!”

Even if a girl was ever to make a move, which i wouldn’t advise, it’d be seriously awkward. The only things that I talk about with this guy is Mars and Rockets and stuff (he wants to be an aerospace something or whatever). He’s a really nice guy and I hope he meets a socially awkward girl and they live happily ever after, but I’ve given up on us!

Are you asexual?

^I think he’s just anti-commitment…

Aww. This is quite saddening.

^most people I know aren’t that bad. I can talk about more than one subject.

EDIT: my version of socially awkward -
Today I was at McDonalds for this show choir fundraiser thing, and it was talking to some people and I had to go, so I legitly (lol) turned around while stepping backward and bumped into this old lady, and I was like “sry” and it was awkward.

<fuzzleshnops, proletariat2=“”> Yes, anti-commitment. Two weeks ago a girl came up to me during a conversation between a friend of mine and me about shooting people with sniper rifles and what rifles to use, the amount of patience, etc… She dragged me out and said, “I have to say this… I like you.” Then muttered something about regretting, but I was not gonna hear this BS.</fuzzleshnops,>

Ruined my f-ing day. I was having the best conversation ever and she dragged me out for this? I barely even KNOW HER! By how much I curse in real life I thought they’d stay away from me.

That had to a goddamn set up, I tell you. They know this and they wanna come and screw with my head.

Anyway, let’s drop this topic. Cool? Before people start accusing me of being a ■■■■■ and all that crap.

So… Socially awkward…. Count me in! Nerdy? Count me out.

Think about it. If people like me are more prudent during their high school years and built up some sort of block-out-relationships f-up plans, earmarked for a teeth-out situation like mine… But whatever, right? You’d think you’re a high roller, some kind of a damn Mr. Fast Lane, who thought that you’re some kind of a Teflon tough “I’ll-make-sure-people-keep-me-out-of-this-bf/gf-nonesense” guy.

But it doesn’t work out. Because there are always the shoot-you-dead, Partons-Who-F-You-Up people that think you’re weird because you don’t like to get attached to things… Committed to things.

You’d think some people would identify areas of mutual concern. Right… You give a “professional” forced smile and walk away. Because they all play the game of “whose dick is bigger?” or some kind of mind-f games of one-upmanship.

You hear that, girls out there? You really think someone would actually come up to me and BS about liking? Yeah right, dream on. Nice set ups by the way. People don’t fall for the same thing twice.

K, lol, I just lost it. Whatever. That was fun. Definition of Teflon: characterized by imperviousness to blame or criticism: a Teflon politician. (dictionary.com lol)

^I seriously read that over three times. I still have no idea what you just said.

Oh well. melin = anti-commitment. You should put that on your facebook page or something. Drive away the girls.

hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fairy_dreams :)

Same here.

It reminded me of a cross between Howl, Ulysses*, and a Clint Eastwood movie.

*Referring to the James Joyce book, not any other Ulysseses

I think melin is trying to bring up some incident, when some girls were teasing him or messing with his mind by “pretending” to like him.

In my opinion, that was kind of cruel of the girls, but obviously you have to realize that not all girls are that way. If you continue to have such a cynical outlook towards girls in general then you will be veryy lonely. And you might think that’s alright right now, but later you’ll most probably regret.

But w/e, if you think it suits you best…

Maybe he has low self-confidence. :[

^^^I was thinking the Jason Compson section of The Sound and the Fury haha

It would be lame if people did that to me :/

Melin, lol. That was a pretty impressive speech. But I didn’t understand a word of it.

Good. It’s better that you guys didn’t get it. What happens when people lose their mind? What do people yell all day long in a Psych Ward? Exactly.

^You’re psychologically disturbed? 0.o

I think the problem is that we all speak English…

…I’m just going to go with meadow’s interpretation. Good luck melin.
