Some advice on faculty switch needed

<p>Guys, and for those of you from myspace who have heard this 100000 times im sorry, but I would really appreciate some advice/feedback/knowledge.</p>

<p>I'm in Arts and Sciences and I desperately want to switch into Arts because of all these required courses. I emailed a man who works at the Uni about it in late july, asking to switch (this course of action was recommended to me by a friend who did the exact same thing). he said that the faculty of arts was full and he could not transfer me. However I've met even more people, at least 3 who have done exactly what I want to do, and successfully!!! My senior buddy claims that it is always possible to switch, that the gentleman wasn't being totally sincere. Could anyone enlighten me on this matter? I plan to call the SAO on monday and definitly sit with an advisor ASAP. thanks</p>

<p>have you emailed anybody or called the school? I ask this because I'm wondering if, like me, they denied you the switch</p>

<p>My adviser's being a douche. She's not answering my emails.</p>

<p>I'm getting mixed signals. My peers say its possible, my senior buddy says its possible. The Senior Advisor says just sign up for arts classes, and some dude I initially emailed twice said its impossible.</p>
