I was recently accepted to cals as a transfer student into the junior year. But I have some questions before I accept it. The college is currently closed so I have to ask it here.
First, what is the maximum amount of credits that a student can take in one semester? After the first semester, what is the normal maximum credit per semester that is survivable?
Second, if Im not registered for a class, but I still want to sit in sometimes to listen to the lecture, is it appropriate? Do people do that?
Third, how does the summer and winter session work. Does the dorm and dining service plans work continuously or do we have to sign on for a new plan for that period? Also how are we charged for the credits that we take in that period?
Finally, I want to know about the ease to take credits outside the major, such as by a minor or just single classes. I was accepted to the Science of Natural and Environmental Systems program, however, I want to take many more physics and math classes than are in this major. Also, if I will later want to change the major such as to biochemistry, how easy is it to do this?

Thank you, I really need to know these things before I accept.
