So my school doesn't have many noteworthy extracurriculars, and no science extracurriculars at all. I am only a freshman but so far I have nothing going for me but a small dog walking job and a few academic achievements. Does anyone have an idea for extracurriculars outside school in either a science-medicine field or an animal field? This is what I am hoping to go into eventually. I am passionate about both these things and I would like to know activities that look good to colleges.

There’s always getting an internship at a local university/hospital, job shadowing, and I guess you could also volunteer at an animal shelter too.

do it for the colleges - do the ECs for YOU! If it is something you like, it will be good gfor you, and if a college doesn’t like what you do, well, that’s why there are a lot of schools out there to choose from.
