Some guidance on my college search

Hi there! I’m a little lost and confused about my college search.

Some quick info about myself:
~Current junior
~Interested in becoming a Physician Assistant or a related career
~Member of NHS
~Top 10% of class

Preferences for a college:
~ cultural diversity (My HS is not very diverse, and I am very passionate about different cultures/languages, in fact, I plan on studying abroad this summer in Latin America to sharpen my Spanish)
~smaller-medium sized school
~It’s not all about competition-- I have found that I do best when I am able to work in a team with others where I can share my strengths to help others and they can do the same for me
~Residential campus
~language programs/study abroad
~financial aid available (My parents have not shared with me how much we can realistically afford; although I do know financial aid is something that would help us)

Many of the schools I’ve looked at so far are not diverse enough for my liking, and I’m afraid most students will be close-minded like my current HS. (ex- constantly joking about other religions, being inconsiderate towards other cultures)

Check into the University of Rochester to see if you fit their stats. They are diverse, study groups are common, they’re known for pre-med, and they are usually good with need-based aid. Many study abroad too.
