<p>A couple of interesting articles that expose some of the issues that accompany a residential campus and college like DU. There is no free lunch.</p>

<p>Of particular interest is the comparative numbers, which alone illustrate relatively less than one might think. Context of institutional type, regulations, student body composition, geography and location, size, alternatives, and on and on can and do color these places. But in some respects, it also exposes some inescapable realities that students face, no matter what their personal preferences. </p>

<p>It's always fascinating the creative spin students can and do paint this phenomena with.</p>
