I am currently a HS and I am very interest in majoring in either Business Administration or Finance. Are there any combined/dual degree I can take so that I don’t have to pursue two different majors and have to do two different courseload ?
Also, if I want to do Master of Science Finance, do I need math higher than Calc BC ?
At UF, you can earn either a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance (BSBA-FIN) or a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Management (BSBA-MGT). You’ll want to major in one or the other.
(UF also has a BSBA in Information Systems and a BSBA in Marketing)

Finance and Management majors are encouraged to pursue a minor, such as accounting, information systems, math, foreign languages, etc. You’ll find a listing at the above link.
UF does offer a “Combined Degree”. This allows you to pursue a Master of Science in Finance or Management, Master of International Business (MIB) or a Master of Science in Information Systems (MSISOM). Combined degree students may apply select master’s courses to their bachelor’s degree requirements. Typically this allows you to earn your BS and MS in 5 years (vs just your BS in 4 years, then taking 2 years for your MS).
BSBA-MGT and BSBA-FIN majors have to take MAC 2233(Survey of Calculus 1), but they don’t have to take the harder Calculus classes. In high school, Calc BC should be fine.
Good Luck!
