-to be honest, the main passions i have is doing lab research (always win awards, hoping to go to isef) and playing tennis, although i was never able to make our state-champion team

-im hoping to get into an ivy like penn or columbia (uva, georgetown, nyu are others); im likely to be in the top 5 out of 500 seniors next year, always get straight As (5.2 GPA this year/4unweighted), and am shooting for at least 2200 sat
-im worried that i wont stand out among a huge pool of applicants; what can i do to get noticed in essays?

what are the BEST things to have on a resume? (SATIIs, volunteer work, internships?)

Adcoms like it if you are dedicated to an EC.

Check out the commonapp.org to see what a typical application looks like.
