Some suggestions...i really want to get in....how do i improve my chances

<p>Then you have a fabulous chance of getting in. However, for international students, UChicago does pay attention to your IB predicted grades. Update your predicted grades when you get them. Other wise, own the essays and you’ll be fine.</p>

<p>In the end, it all comes down to the essays. Be yourself and put your best food forward. Good luck :)</p>

<p>First off, you mentioned that you’re thinking about retaking your SAT Is before the application period. While there’s no reason to discourage you from working on higher SAT Math or English scores, they are much less important than other components of the application. According to our information sessions, we disregard the Writing (not the English) portion of the SAT. The application essays, class transcript, and teacher recommendations are also more important than SAT scores when considering a student’s application.</p>
