Some tips for placement exam

As the Summer orientation series are going to start in a couple days, incoming freshmen are going to take various placement exam online. There are a few tips I have collected. Please feel free to add more in this thread.

You need to take the online placement exam at least 3 days before the orientation.

The math placement exam is about the level of SAT/ACT math.

For Spanish (and perhaps other languages too), you may want to have something to keep track on your pace. You will loose the count of question easily.

Make sure you have a couple web browsers installed with flash plugin on the computer. In some case, a button does not show up in one web browser and you may need to switch to another browser and continue the test. (A lesson learned with some cost).

A few days after the exam, you may check the placement result on Wolverine Access. You need to go to:
Students > Student Business > Class Search > My Academics > View My Placement Exam Results

Which browsers and versions had the problems?

Thank you billcsho! The tips were very helpful to my daughter.

She had problem with FireFox flash plugin although they recommend to use FireFox. It may be just the specific version of flash problem.
