These resources have been discussed in previous threads, but it has been so long that they bear repeat mention:
Getting In - a wonderful article that appeared in the Spring '07 Vanderbilt Magazine that is mailed to alumni and parents (a truly excellent publication whose articles always portray the wonderful flavor of Vanderbilt; well worth the time for prospective students and their parents to peruse past issues online)

and
Vanderbilt Admissions Blog
I believe the blog was created last fall and the posts have provided another window into what goes on in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. For students applying during the next cycle, it would be worth your time to go back to September, 2007 and quickly review all the year's posts. Many of the questions that are posed in this forum are addressed.

Finally, if you review past posts in this forum, you'll find a number of posts from Brad, a member of the OUA staff, who is mentioned in the Getting In article. He tends to post mostly during the academic year and should be commended for his willingness to provide forthright and useful information to Vanderbilt applicants.
