Someone tell me my chances of anything

I have a gpa of 1.9 im in my senior year of high school first semester. I just got my report card back and I have a 3.8 ,and I plan on scoring hiring 2nd quarter. I plan on applying for a college in January maybe Middle Tennessee State University(MTSU) or Tennessee State University. I’m also taking the act for the third time on December 12, 2015. I first scored a 16 on my act then I scored a 26 I plan on taking it again hoping for a 31 on my act. I just wanna know if I apply in January could my higher grades boost my gpa into a 2.1 by 1st semester.

I’m wondering if I have a chance. In any college what so ever. So I have these questions.

*Applying in January in a school like MTSU

*Does my gpa add up with my gpa first semester I just got my report card and got a 3.8 and plan on getting a 4.0 2nd quarter (my school we have 4 quarters)

*Will taking the ACT three times be a bad idea.

*Should I just give up on college because I don’t want to go to a community college.

*Is my hole just way to deep?

*bump

Take the ACT again and hopefully it will make up for the GPA.

Go to college. You will have guaranteed admission to MTSU and TSU because of your ACT score. I’m assuming that you’re in-state, so you will have completed the required courses. It’s great that you’re making such improvements, but I actually don’t know how much your GPA will go up. Do your quarter or semester grades go on your transcript? And no, taking the ACT three times isn’t that bad. One of the times (assuming you’re a TN resident) was a graduation requirement and not by choice, and if you get a 31, then you’ll be way above average test-wise for TSU at least.

EDIT: In a past post of yours, I was wayyyy too mean. Sorry for not looking at the requirements for TSU and MTSU before being a jerk. Here’s hoping that you’re happy at whichever you choose!

Also, I had Science Olympiad at TSU, but this one kid thought it was at MTSU, lol.

Thanks awesomepolyglot,

Yeah I had it tough so I am working really hard to get myself out of my current situation.

@Justincy let me know how it turns out, OK? And I really hope you do get that 31, that would be great!
