title says it all.
i made a comment on the french ap thread about the exam.
and someone checked my xanga w/ a collegeboard.com domain through my french ap thread.
my xanga has my first name and date of birth.
should i be worried that they'll think that what i said was not following AP-security rules and that they'll disregard my score? AHHH GREAT one more thing to worry about in addition to my calculus AP tmr.

Well, I don't think you should have discussed it within 48 hours of the exam. Go study your AP Calc to keep your mind off AP French. No point in worrying about it now, because it has already been checked, and there really is nothing you can do about it except pray you don't get penalized. And never discuss the multiple choice. ;)

BTW, AP Calc isn't all THAT hard to get a 5 on. Study hard and you'll probably do fine. You arent down, haven't been exactly "warned" about anything yet, etc. Don't let this affect your AP Calculus and just hope for the best, I guess.

You haven't removed your homepage from your profile yet? Have some common sense. It's already been checked, but there's no harm in being on the safe side.

i got a 5 on the practice calc ap. i always get a 5 on practice ap's (ie. chem/possibly bio) but on the real AP i get a 4. -_-
oh man well i guess i am screwed with my french ap. but you're right - nothing i can do now.
good idea steamed rice. imma study calc and totally try to ignore that my whole life is at stake here with my french AP being possibly unscored. :p

Good thinking. Btw, are you taking AB or BC?

I just took the AP language and comp test and I'm pretty worried about my score, but I still have Euro and Physics to deal with. Gotta find myself a way to keep on studying as well. ;)

Umm...how does someone match your CB account with your Xanga account? I mean, CB is only for SAT Registration and that kind of stuff, right?

Besides, you seniors don't have to worry that much. You're already going to University of Chicago, from what your profile says, and thats already a really good school.

steamed rice , your sn makes me hungry despite my freaking nervousness. thanks, im really excited to go to uchicago. : )
im taking the bc exam.

well, i originally had my location as my city/state on my CC profile. i had to quickly change it to something else (as you see presently). but it's too late they probably already tracked me down.
and i had my first name and date of birth on my xanga.
so it'd be pretty easy to match up the date of birth, first name, city/state and find the one person who matches my criteria... and then they'll say "ok we found her . cancel her score."
mannnn. this sucks like hell.
i only thought u couldnt discuss MC cuz my proctors kept emphasizing "never discuss mc". but then i read the IMPORTANT THREAD thing by the admin here on CC and blah. i screwed my life over.

lol warblers I thought you left..lol.

yea warblers i thought you typed a random password so u can study for finals in the library and hav no more cc in your life. : p

so what exactly did you say on the French thread? Did you accidentally blurt out the essay prompt or something?

I did. Blame QuizQuick. He's the one who told me I could email myself the password.

Anyway, I only have one more exam (Thursday night), and I did very well on my first three.
happy dance

no. i didnt talk about my essay. i only said that my essay was too short but didnt have any specifics.
i jus saw some ppl talking about the fill-in. and i decided to stupidly contribute. and with my excessant profanity of my anger of getting some answers wrong that i could have easily gotten right, my asterisks in my post just stuck out from all the others. like a signal to collegeboard ppl "look at her xanga. if she talked about this on cc, she must have ranted on xanga too."
but i didnt. nothing on xanga except me saying i bombed my frenchAP.
its just that what i said on cc is probably my cause of fatal dark gloomy depressing doom.

Good luck on the rest of them warblers! (And you can also type gibberish for your email so you can't send yourself the password) :)

Awww...have hope. :) Besides, the AP people will probably be too busy focusing their attention elsewhere, and I don't think many CCers were caught when they discussed their SAT questions every month or two.

thanks quizquick! : p i reallllllly hope you're right. they should be more focused on ... other things. i am not their priority!!!
but then again, i doubt that some cc-ers had a xanga with their name/location/birthdate on it that the AP ppl could have tracked down.

... -- it's pretty highly unlikely that one person from collegeboard tells the head CB person about me, making the whole CB take the time to cancel just my score..... hopefullY? unless the CB head checked him/herself. the IPS address is from NY where the CB headquarters is...
my friend says that CB does not have enough time to go through all that for one person...
but im just highly paranoid. this is like stress-week and on top of all that,,, this! XX
i really ought to study for calculus ...

I'd be worried about this if I were you since it appears someone working at the corporate headquarters is stalking your xanga.

I don't get why people on this site have no common sense despite the fact that they all tend to score perfect 5s and 2300s+. Why would you give a direct link to your own xanga/myspace/facebook to strangers? That's personal information which can easily be used against you by anyone, especially those self fondling employees of the collegeboard.

Um, they would have to prove its your xanga also.

What do you mean they have to "prove"? This isn't some civil law suit. They are a private company and can do whatever they want. The only way they would have to prove anything is if she sues the collegeboard or tries to reach a settlement in court. Also, I'd be more concerned about getting my admission to Chicago rescinded than one score. There are consequences for these type of things.
