Hey, everybody! Did anybody get their AP Calc BC score by phone or in the mail yet??? I didn't...I'm really worried because I don't think I did too well.
How many points to get a 5? I heard it was 67 out of 108 last year, but I thought this year's open response was harder, so hopefully it's lower...
I skipped 3 or 4 questions out of the 45, so if I missed, say, 10, I need at least 33 pts on open response.
AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
How did everybody else do?
I know it's a little late to ask, but I just discovered CC :D

I answered all the mc/s and tried all the free response and thought I failed. Turns out I got a 5... Hang in there, you probably did fine.

My Calc BC score was a 4 (AB subscore was a 5).

But then again, I only answered many 80% of the mc and like, 2/3 of the free response section. (I kinda doodled on the last free response. Crap! I knew I should have studied the Maclaurin series more, it could've gotten me that 5!!!) Oh well.

I was happy, because I felt I did ok on the MC sections, but bombed the FR. I left the entire last free response question blank. Not a single pencil scratch. And I ended up with a 5.

I thought I got a 2 because I left like 2 full free responses blank and screwed up on 2 others, but I ended up getting a 4. I want to shake the hands of my AP exam graders.

i think the curve was lenient
i also left FR sections, not entire questions blank, but that amounts to almost 2 questions blank
5/5

you guys aren't the least bit worried? i mean sure getting a 5 is great and all but you should really be focusing on how well you know and can do calculus.

I'm not the least bit worried... my calculus class went over the problem I skipped a few weeks after the exam, and I realized that in my panic I had misread the question and thought it was asking for something without giving pertinent information. This of course put me in a slump because I thought I had blown my chances at a 5 due to panic and misreading. But I'm over it now :)

ooooh. I'm still nervous. I've been nervous since tuesday, may 3, 2005. Will everybody who got a 5 tell me how they felt about the MC (how many they skipped, etc.) and OR (again, how many parts you skipped/know you got wrong)? Thanks.

LMAO. I barely studied ANY ADDITIONAL Calc BC on my own (took an AB class) and STILL GOT A 5. IRONICALLY, I got a 4 on the Calc AB exam. I'm so excited such high scores and so little studying!!

Sorry I kinda sound like I'm boasting but yeah I was too excited and surprised.
