Something about Baccalaureate Colleges?

I saw this kind of school in USNEWS
I apply to Elizabethtown college.
What's the disfference between University, liberal and art college and Baccalaureate Colleges?
Thx

liberal arts colleges and baccalaureate colleges are the same thing.

They are colleges that are small and lack graduate programs. They only have undergraduates, as a rule.

while both groups are undergraduate-centered (meaning few graduate students), us news divides the baccalaureate and liberal arts colleges based on the percentage of degrees in the liberal arts (sciences, social sciences, humanities and fine arts) they award. those awarding fewer than half of their degrees in the liberal arts get put into the baccalaureate category. after all, it is difficult to call such a school a liberal arts college.

in your case, elizabethtown awards large numbers of business, communications, education and health-related degrees.

schools that award significant numbers of masters and doctoral degrees are placed in the masters university and national university categories.

so you mean liberal arts schools and baccalaureate college are the same kind of school just with different awards?
