Something for the graduates...

So I graduated from Wesleyan on Sunday. It was a bittersweet moment, to say the least. But now, like many Wesleyan alums, I am moving to Brooklyn. I remembered an article in the Ampersand from a few years ago about this phenomon, and I present it to you all here.

Congratulations, Matt. I can remember when you were applying to colleges, so it's hard to believe four years went by so quickly.
Last year I was at a show at the Stone, John Zorn's performance club in the East Village. It was called Middletown and included some great performances from Wesleyan artists now living in NYC..mostly from Brooklyn. One artist, Lin Manuel Miranda, a pretty amazing musician/rapper/poet who has a play on Broadway called In the Heights, performed this free style piece about the transport of Wesleyan to NYC. It had been on U Tube, but it looks like it has been taken down. Rats.

Hilarious.
