SUMMER INTERN: Wall Street Recruiting ($15-18/hour DOE)

looks unprofessional

A SAT above 1400? Isn't that like anyone who has a pulse in a top school would get that? Geez

Yea I think they probably meant the old version of the SAT they are a little behind.

yeah, although some up-to-date programs still use the 0-1600 scale, they just disregard your English score... If Critical Reading and Math combined are above 1400, you're alright, I'd assume.

Dumb and pretentious.

craigslist? That looks like a scam...."Join a top Wall Street recruiting firm" yeah? top? What's the name of the firm? Instead of selling out so much, it should've simply stated the name of the firm....solid proof is best.

the firm name is in the email address provided. its a place called "snelling search," which seems to be a recruitment agency for finance jobs.

plenty of firms ask for gpa and/or sat scores. its an easy way to filter resumes when you get hundreds for a few spots. there seems to be nothing sketchy about the ad at all - they tell you what you will be doing, where, for whom, and how much you get paid. plenty of people advertise on craiglist - its free and increases your applicant pool.

Not a great ad... not a good place to be looking for great summer internships... don't apply.

do firms really want a college kid screening resumes?
