<p>This is my reach school. I would absolutely love it if I was given the opportunity to go, but step one is determining whether this is even possible! I'm applying and auditioning specifically for the vocal performance/music degree program. Musically, I think I'm qualified? otherwise... not so sure. Help me, please!! Do I even stand a chance?</p>

<p>Here is my info:</p>

<p>Half-Italian, half-Asian female from pretty good (several competitive students but slim course offerings) public school.
GPA: 3.47
Class Rank: 67/446
SAT I Reasoning: Critical Reading 590, Math 470, Writing 640 = 1600 (ugh)</p>

<p>AP courses/tests completed by graduation: 5
Current Courses: AP Literature and Composition, AP Music Theory, AP Psychology, Advanced Drawing and Painting, Chamber Choir, Alg. III</p>

<p>I've taken courses in Music Theory for two years and have studied classical music with my voice coach since 7th grade. </p>

<p>Extra-Curriculars:</p>

<p>Chorus/Vocal Music - all of high school, All-State Choir 4 consecutive years, Tri-Co (4 years) and All-Co Honors Chorus (4 years), highest rating (1 = Superior) on Level VI (highest difficulty level) music at State Solo and Ensemble Festivals, performed with chorus in New York City festival, in Towson University Honors Choir and nominated for Master Class, accepted to International Lyric Academy Tuscia Opera Festival in Rome and Viterbo, All-Eastern Honors Choir 2007 (nominated and accepted)</p>
