son is going to the 2nd year at I.U., he tried to get in fraternities, but it seems he failed, and all his friends got in, so now he could not find a roommate to live with for next semester. Does anybody help on my questions ? thanks in advance. #:-S

If he wants to stay in university housing, he could use RoomSync to find a roommate:

Hopefully someone with experience will respond with other tips for finding housing/roomates for sophomore year.

thank you very much, I will let son know.

If he doesnt mind doing a little cleaning he can live in Ashton in a single for a very reasonable price. There is a special program but i cant remember the name of it. I am thinking about doing it to save some money. A lot of students dont get into fraternities and sororities but I dont think I would say they failed

son felt sad yesterday, but today he is Ok. thank you.

He could move into Willkie or some of the other dorms that offer singles
