1- Banana Pancakes-Jack Johnson…pretty much anything by him is the best

I hope you liked what I offered for #3 :)

Anyway, here are some more songs :

1

Oasis - Tarja Turunen

2

“Bittersweet” - Plumb

3

“Children” - eScala
“Misconstruction” - Apocalyptica

Streetlight Manifesto has the best Such Great Heights cover…I even like it more than the original but I am a Streetlight diehard :)

“I approve of any and all Passion Pit recommendations.”
HELLA seconded. I love the CD Manners. It probs fits into category #1, but I actually was so in love with it I listened to it during my runs too. Moth’s Wings, Make Light, and Little Secrets are more upbeat.

1

Winter Windows–Sea Wolf
The entire album To Lose My Life by White Lies. The songs To Lose My Life or Farewell to the Fairground might be suitable for workouts… depending on your taste.

2

Kanye West–Jesus Walks (even though I’m Jewish, but that’s ok…), Heartless, Love Lockdown, Homecoming, Can’t Tell Me Nothing, Good Life, etc. Basically everything
Franz Ferdinand–Outsiders, Bite Hard, Twilight Omens, Turn It On, Jacqueline. Some of their other songs you might like for the #1 category. I LOVE them though.
Duran Duran–for the really great pop stuff. Synth-pop is awesome. So like Planet Earth, All She Wants Is, Is There Something I Should Know, Notorious.
My First Kiss: 3OH3 feat. Ke$ha. This is an amazing song.
Cold War Kids–their music is not super upbeat or poppy, but I really like listening to it when I run/work-out. Something Is Not Right With Me, Hospital Beds, Saint John, Hang Me Up To Dry.
Arctic Monkeys–most songs on Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not. OK, it’s not pop… but it’s damn good, esp. for high-energy stuff.
Work For Love by Ministry.
Cooler Than Me and Please Don’t Go by Mike Posner.
Spread Your Love by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

3

Primavera by Ludovico Einaudi. This is the only classical song I actually have on my iTunes. Piano. So good.

And many many more… I could go on kinda forever.

2

What do you say? - Mickey Avalon

haha

People, people, the song names ALWAYS comes first, not the artist. Weird pet peeve of mine.

“A love for Life” - Yanni

Eminem- 25 to life, Love the way you lie

sooooooooooooooy un perdedor,
i’m a loser baby, so why don’t you kill me?

not sure what category, but great song nonetheless. :)

LOSER - by BECK

This doesn’t count as classical music, but it’s instrumental nonetheless:
EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY
