if you don't mind, could you please post his aid package? did USC meet his full need as stated on his FAFSA and PROFILE? i kind of want to see how USC deals with financial need.

is it possible that they may contribute to the 10,000 in roomandboard, books, and food? or is tht something that finaid won't cover? just curious cause i didnt do a fafsa or profile

Tax forms were faxed in on February 27th. USC listed them as received on March 9th. financial aid was posted about two weeks after Son was accepted.

FAFSA EFC was 12.5K. Sure glad I have twins getting ready to go into school at the same time. They split the EFC and each are getting decent packages at this level.

Profile and USC make some changes to base fafsa and it must have come out to about 15K. I rounded down the grant ;)

I would suspect that the NMF scholarship would reduce the need-based grant, but you can double-check with the FAid office to get definitive info.

ughhh.
i tried to look mine up & it said "financial aid status: under review."
a little worried now, since the cost is a big thing in my household..

Thanks for posting your info. It has made me less worried. My EFC is like 6k, so I think I can accept alot of grant aid :). Thats the important thing.
