Class president for past 3 years
Varsity Football, 3 years. Captain.
Varsity basketball, 3 years. Captain.
Varsity Track, 3 years. Probable captain come spring.
Foreign Language club, Vice President.
school orchestra. I play the Violin and Viola.
A little volunteer work
Single-mom, makes under 50,000 a year. (disabled and widowed).
2 brothers.
Science Olympiad team member, placed nationally sophomore year (48th haha)
Confident I have two good rec's from teachers and also a great one from guidance
Honestly, really like my college essay. Think it's pretty solid.
And oh, went to Boys State where I was elected to the House of Represenatives</p>

<p>Your EC’s are fantastic! It’s your gpa and sat’s that might give you a little problem. But I think you still have a good shot.</p>

<p>To be on the safe side apply to schools that are a higher probability and maybe give you some scholarship money. St. John’s. Iona. Marist. Seton Hall and perhaps a couple of SUNY schools. (If you are a tri-state, New Yorker).</p>

<p>Thanks! Yeah Fordham is one the colleges that I’d really like to get into but I’m not sure if I will because of my low gpa. Grrr. But yeah, I have some backups. Thanks again!</p>
