Soooo nba finals guiseee

whos rooting for durant and thunders???? go OKCCCC

lol serge ibakaa, harden, durant, westbrook. hope they winnn they deserve it

sry typo gosh

Let’s go Heat!

I have no stake in this dog-fight, but I think the Heat will take this one. It’s still anyone’s series, but LeBron has shown absolute tenacity in the recent games.

^ Heat are at the same position as they were last yr, up 2-1. Only difference is, they’re considered underdogs now.

I like the Thunder a lot… hard to say because I remember watching Wade beasting in '06 - don’t really care who wins as long as the games are close lol.

LeBron is not cause of these victories. He is just the best that each good team has. OKC has DURANT. Shane Battier makes the crucial 3 pts that heat need. Okc will step up their defense clearly and make a dramatic comeback

Lebron is the best player on the floor no matter where he plays. If you say Durant is better than Lebron you either don’t watch basketball or you watch basketball but don’t understand what constitutes an athlete/complete player.

im not saying hes better. im saying he just leads the team. hes not the cause for the victory. Lebron is a GREAT player. but battier is the heat’s cause for victory. if u notice he has the most play time after lebron. hes a newbie on the team and in the league honestly

who you want in the 4th quarter? durant all the way. He needs the ball more though, needs more shots imo, westbrook needs to look for him way more…

looks like OKC has a good lead from the START for the first time. good signs to a victory

Battier is neither a newbie in the league nor is he a crucial player.

Battier has been playing for like 12 years; he played for the Houston Rockets for at least 8 years. Haha he is in no way a “newbie.”

He also averages like 8 points a game, and this season is his lowest 3 point shooting percentage of his entire career. Yeah he’s stepped up in the Finals but Dwyane Wade is definitely the second most productive player on that team, obviously followed by Chris Bosh.

ok sureeee. they’re good but they’re paired once again with westbrook and harden. Battier is crucial like i said. he makes unpredictable shots. btw he just joined the heat this year. shocked coaches and Rockets aren’t that good. that is what i mean

@efeens44, battier’s a “newbie” for the Heat as a new addition.

also, he is crucial as the 6th man, provides spark off the bench with 3s and some decent defense drawing charges. i’d say he’s top 3 in importance at times > wade/bosh at (rare) times

exactly thank you harvey.

I said he isn’t a “newbie” in THE LEAGUE. Because he isn’t, he was drafted in 2001…I think by the Grizzlies…I may be wrong. Oh yeah, he went to Duke where he won a title in 2001.

But he can’t be considered crucial. He is an outstanding role player, no question. But that’s all he is - a role player. You said it yourself: someone to make a couple threes here and there and draw some charges. Both can be huge momentum shifters.

However, to group Battier anywhere near Bosh and Wade is ridiculous. Wade is a Finals MVP and one of the most explosive and versatile guards in the league; Bosh is a defensive presence and averages 19 points a game. Battier isn’t even the ballpark those two are in.

I honestly have not watched the last three games, but the fact that there aren’t many LeBron disappearing comments is discouraging, but I believe that LeBrick will come thru in the end.

i still don’t like how westbrook takes as many if not more shots each game as durant. I know it’s part of his game and can be a great strength of the team, but I feel he chucks up shots too much, should get NBA top scorer and Ibaka involved more

also @above, yes, he’s not a newbie, but eswara meant newbie to the team, you apparently did not comprehend his post very well…and we know he’s not talent-level with big 3 but he’s giving quality, and without his play I would say the series would be thunder lead right now

and thats why he is a newbie. that is why he goes above expectations. that is why he is crucial. that is why he gets more play time than the other 2.

Russ needs to back off and understand two stars cannot coexist comfortably. Wade handed the team over to Lebron and they’re one of the best duos in the game because of it.

And I don’t know where you’re getting this “stat” where Battier plays more than Bosh and Wade, but that’s ridiculous too. Wholly untrue. Battier doesn’t even average more than ten points a game!

The Heat >
