Sooooo who else is tired of school?

Before third year, I never thought that I'd say this, but I'm absolutely sick of school. I never got into the whole partying scene at University to begin with, as I've always commuted. I've met a lot of cool people here and some parts of school I actually like, but I'm just ready to move on already. It's becoming very hard to do my homework, attend classes, and especially study for exams. Right now I'm finishing up third year and I'll be here for another 2 years because of how many times I've switched majors. I'll end up with a degree in mechanical engineering and hopefully move away!

Like I said before, before third year, I never had these thoughts, but toward the end of last semester it started. I've talked to some other people and it sounds like this happens to a lot of people around 3rd year.

Discuss.

yeah... i'm in 3rd year too.. ready to move on and graduate. i should've just planned to go to college for 3 years... then travel or study abroad easy classes on the last year.

boo. 3rd year at a community college has the potential to realllllllly get a person down.

I'm in my first year, and I already want to drop out. It seems like the classes freshman year are complete jokes. I have a TA for calc2 which doesn't take the class seriously thus resulting in my soon to be demise in that class unless I pick myself up.

Nevertheless, college is the ultimate form of money wasting. EVERYTHING I have learned here, I could have picked up from a text book. By the way, I go to Binghamton which is considered a top public school. So I can't imagine how really terrible the bad schools are. HAHA.

i go to cal and study industrial engineering. the lectures are usually boring (especially the lower divs), and the exams are always of the fast thinking type that benefit smart people. it usually doesn't really matter how much you study or love the subject in terms of grades. i realized recently that i really want to pursue something as an entrepreneur, so I don't think I'll really be able to use most of the stuff I am currently learning (and stressing myself out about) so yea i'm feeling jaded with classes.
