silly question, and off topic. How do you make words "bold?"

I think I figured it out, discuss amongst yourselves! :)

This is really not a major issue, but I do want to correct the idea that only the "wealthier" students took advantage of these programs -]]

Bad phrase. Yes, there is some help. And I realize the trips were subsidized. But I can assure you, I know of students who are on full aid and not only do they not have even have 25 extra spendable dollars, they often work over break.

We are receiving no aid either. My daughter will most likely go to Tibet next year, but there are other full pay students whose parents are taking out loans and simply don’t have 1500.00 extra to spend. I know of a kids who can’t afford to do internships unless they’re paid.

How many J term trips were there 4 or 5? That’s still only 60 kids.

But you’re correct, no big deal.

So far I haven't found a slush fund to help me. Any ideas? :)
otoh- Smith has been very generous paying for a DC trip and a van always at the kids disposal to attend meetings and lectures at other colleges. She even used it to give a talk at URI.

I think I figured it out, discuss amongst yourselves!]]

I'm confused. The op was disturbed over the changes at Smith. This is one of them and it effected 1300 current students an untold numbers of sophomores who weren’t aware the changes were coming. Why don't you believe our topic is not relevant to the op’s charges? :)

Again, no big deal. I needed an excuse to get out and do something in the yard anyway. No more posts :)

No, no, no...I was confused as to how to make things bold; nothing to do with the thread!

LOL--Oh good. I didn't want to do yardwork.
