@AliZmaZoya21 What kinds of questions did they ask you? And how long did the interview take?
You’ll be there for about three hours. A lot of people told me prior to my interview to know my essays Inside and out completely and that they’d ask a lot from it but at my interview, she asked a very brief question from my essays. Just one surprisingly. But it’s safe to know your essays beforehand too. The interview questions were fairly straightforward. Nothing that would throw you off or put you into deep thought.
@AliZmaZoya21, if you do not mind sharing your stats, can you share them with us, so we can figure out if there is a possibility of getting an interview?
I’m going to be honest to you, I’m not top 1% of my class or a prodigy or anything, I feel that the people they invited for the interview range in their own intelligence but they instead looked at everyone’s personal story and how they presented themselves in their essays. Anyone can become a doctor, but it’s the one that is passionate and showed it in their essays or their experiences in their extracurriculars that they are looking for.

@AliZmaZoya21 Did you happen to find any out of state students on the day of your interview? I am wondering if they are considering out of state students for admission into this program this year
Yup! I met one out of state girl that was from Jersey. They have removed their policy of being strictly lenient towards New Yorkers and have opened up to other state.
I got an email this morning that my interview will be next week!

Any out of staters who applied and got interview respond?
I am wondering how many applications they received, how many they are interviewing, how many seats they will fill, how many they offer for in state, and how many they offer for out of state.
@midwestFem They don’t take into account whether you’re in state or out of state when you apply for one of the ninety seats in the incoming class.

I am out of state, but its my top choice and my stats are all relatively above what they said they were looking for. Are you sure in and out of state applicants are viewed equally?
@Aisha7 My guess is that they are taking very few out of state applicants, since CUNY is a state university
