At my school it's AP US History. It's funny, because it's widely regarded as the hardest class in the whole school. And yet, it's only offered to sophomores. Oh, well.

Definitely challenging, definitely worth the challenge.

Take what your school offers. Last year as a soph, I took stats and euro.
If you're like me and plan to take many more in your later years, they will prep/teach you a lot about what to expect. Those two last year definitely helped me learn to manage the 5 tests I had this year.

~tinman

I took World History and CompSci A.

World is not bad if you try to self-study--it's just a lot of memorization.

I took bio, euro and chem as a sophomore. I struggled in bio because that was my first hour class and I basically slept through it, the other two I found interesting so I had no problems with them.

I took euro history

I'm taking Calc AB, US govt, english lang, statistics, and art history (just got approved on flvs right now!!!!) as a sophomore.

Wow, swin2daend. That's a pretty intense sophomore schedule...respect++;
Good luck :)

My D took AP Latin Vergil and Bio, got 4 on both of the exams.

i took chem and calc this year a sophomore. Got 5's on them both. I kinda wish i had taken apush too though.

my school doesn't allow sophs to take AP's :(

In my school, none of the Sophomores know that they can take AP classes. When I was a Sophomore, as I said earlier, I took AP Music Theory. I took AP Biology my Junior year. It's the only class that Sophomores are allowed to take now. None of the Sophomores take it.

Euro is the only one allowed for my sophomores in my school too: so AP EURO! (just LOVED this course!)

Thanks inconnu!!! I hope I can do well in all of them!!! I'm mostly afraid of art history because I know the least about that subject and it's either a very easy classor very hard class. My teacher allows you to do assignments twice though!!! So I'm gonna try and use that to my advantage. I just want the OP to know that my AP courseload is NOT a normal AP courseload for a sophomore. I just tried to challenge myself to challenge myself as much as humanly possible.

This is the hardest load of AP"s at my school that a sophmore did

AP Euro
AP Stat
AP Chem

I know this looks great for colleges but as a warning this fellow classmate of mine, ended suffering from a nervous breakdown just before taking the Ap tests in May. He may of done well in those classes but he almost failed English 10 (all classes at my school are considered honor level except for APs)

Just use some common sense

I took AP Gov and it wasn't too bad, infact it was the only class that I found really interesting as a sophmore

i took ap cal bc and world.. 5 on both..

I took Biology and World History.

i took ap us history and ap stats

Sophomore in my class took AP Spanish, AP Chem, AP US History, and AP Calc. And I think she might have had one friend? Oh, nope, that was her mom.

Nice girl though, just...bleh. I thought I had no life with two APs.

Erm, Calculus BC, Biology, and World History.
